What did the Prophet ﷺ do when a man urinated in the mosque? — credits

When a Bedouin urinated in a corner of the Prophet's ﷺ mosque and the Companions rushed at him, the Prophet ﷺ told them to leave him, saying they were sent to make things easy, not to make them difficult. Then he called the man over and explained what mosques are for, and at his order a bucket of water was poured over the spot. Once he understood, the man said: he did not scold me, and did not insult me. A hand-made-style paper-collage animation, rendered live in your browser with plain JavaScript and canvas.

Sources for the story

Out of respect, the Prophet ﷺ is never depicted: his words appear only as text. People are shown only from behind, and the man is not named, as the narrators chose to cover him.
